Anyone else craving light, healthy fare after the indulgences of the Thanksgiving weekend? (c’mon, tell me I’m not the only one who went a bit overboard!) It’s probably why this nutritious spin on the ubiquitous dessert buffet has me drooling. I love the idea of elevating simple fruits & veggies by presenting them artistically to allow the stunning natural colors to take center stage. Definitely more appealing than the standard tray of crudités, and the “floral” arrangements using cabbages, artichokes & brussels sprouts are beyond perfection. No doubt you’ve seen my girl crush Amy Atlas’ stunning sweets creations, and she posted this virtuous version from a talented reader on her blog. Some might call it a goody two-shoes move…I call it just plain good.
