Monochromatic Monday {Garden + Sky}
Okay, okay…so I cheated just a tad on today’s Monochromatic Monday board. It spotlights two completely different shades (making it not so monochromatic) but you really can’t blame me for being completely inspired by the interplay of leafy greens against a clear cerulean sky. Set a long table with bright blue linens & stoneware, and use mason jars & colorful bottles as effortlessly cool decor accents. How unique is this centerpiece incorporating humble leafy greens as florals? I don’t think cabbage has ever looked so chic! Lemon trees recall an afternoon spent al fresco in Tuscany, and allow lots of dappled sunlight to cast a glow over the table. Cucumber crudités and an avocado salad are vividly green and so refreshing for a late-summer meal. Get the DIY for the mason jar lanterns here.
