The Jet Set
January 7, 2010
I’m helping my mom plan the rehearsal dinner for my brother’s upcoming nuptials in June, and we’ve decided on a vintage Italian theme to commemorate their Tuscan honeymoon. Think terra cotta pots with fresh herbs, loaves of rustic breads with olive oil & a vintage postcard invitation. While scouring my favorite blogs for ideas, I stumbled upon this fresh, creative, travel-themed dinner. Aren’t the vintage maps & globes an adorable & innovative way to tie it all together?

Looks beautiful, but where do you put the food on the table?? There is no room!
Good point Vanessa! Since there’s only room for each individual place setting, this would definitely have to be either a seated dinner (with food served individually to each guest), or a buffet with a separate table holding all the food. No “family style” for this setup!
Love this. It is going to be a beautiful gathering.
do you know where i could get some of those globe banks? thanks
Hi! Where can I get those globe banks?
